Bloomberg, a former Democratic presidential hopeful, announced earlier this month that he would spend millions to help convicted Florida felons pay court fees so they can become eligible to vote in the hotly contested swing state.
Florida passed a law in 2018 reinstating voting rights for up to 1 million felons that dictated they could register only if they complete all terms of their sentences. The state legislature and Supreme Court decided that all terms includes fines and fees. Democratic groups using Bloomberg money to launch $6M in Spanish... Mike Tyson says he'll vote for the first time this year In the letter, Moody says Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) asked her to look into the fundraising effort.
Moodys letter comes a day after Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz called for an investigation into Bloombergs fundraising, which he described as a bribe.
Its not every felon. Its just those which they have specifically identified as the Biden voters, Gaetz said on Fox News. Thats offering a bribe, an inducement, for someone to behave a certain way in voting.
After preliminary reviewing of the limited public information and law, it appears further investigation is warranted, Moody wrote in a letter to law enforcement, citing news articles about Bloombergs fundraising.
bloomberg channeling boss Tweed
Go very slow. Run out the clock. Make the decision on October 6 at 8 oclock at night. Deadline for registering is October 8th. Give them 24-hours. Ha! Good luck.
What can Bloomberg do to make sure these felons will vote for the RATS?
Make them sign a contract?
Put them all in a felon camp and make them vote dems?
Threaten to send them right back to prison if they do not vote dems?
Hey, I know, the FL authorities in charge of these felons simply make up some instant rules/laws requiring additional huge fees and whatnot with a 3-day deadline..... see if bloomberg and gang can fund-raise that much in a short time................
Prediction - mini-mike will blow off these money for nothung just as he blew all the $ for his presidential bid!
So, my question with this is, if it is determined Bloomberg broke the law, do the felons benefitting still get to vote?
“No person shall directly or indirectly give or promise anything of value to another intending thereby to buy that persons or anothers vote”
It would be so fitting to see Bloomie being drug through the courts in an orange jumpsuit. It would also give other billionaires pause.
Is it too late to change the law? Id like to think the legislature and people of Fl tried to do a good thing here originally and of course the RATs ruin it for them.
Sorry but Mr. Wray and company are too busy coordinating the next blm/antifa riots to be bothered with vote buying.
