I'll bet that Democrats want riots in Kentucky because it's McConnell's home state.
They will use this to bash McConnell as he's focusing on filling the vacancy on the Supreme Court.
They will shamelessly ask how McConnell can so heartlessly move on filling the vacancy while his own state is burning and demand that he "take care of things at home" before trying to rush a nominee onto the court.

McConnell is running against a ditz who makes Prince Harry look intelligent. He routinely wins by 60 percent margins. But the ditz is funded with perhaps $ 100 million from the Hollywood/HiTech group of rich leftists, now without the convicted pervert Harvey Weinstein who gave millions to the left but whom they no longer know.
