The d Party seems to have an age problem. Obviously Biden. The oldest Supreme. Old senators. It shows lack of foresight and also narcissism on the part of many. They should retire at the opportune time and they don’t.Both parties do, really.
It's the Boomer generation (to include their older siblings born during the war). They just think they're too important to retire.

Also they can’t cover their sixes any longer once they’re out of power. Who’s to say their successors won’t torpedo them for public brownie points, and a bit of revenge for what (who) THEY had to do to get up the ladder?
