Unless Trump is a liar, I can’t imagine why I am wrong about the Peter Principle gravely affecting Sessions performance as AG. Falling on his shoe laces with every step was painful and eventually caused an antagonized POTUS to unequivocally question Sessions very character, stopping just short of calling him a betrayer. Nope, I don’t believe Trump was playing word games or doing theratrics. He can obfuscate and be evasive. He is not a liar.

I totally disagree with you. Here are some of the things I applaud Sessions for:
He’s one of only a handful who stood with Cruz during the Obamacare filibuster. Even though Mitch told the Senate not to, he did the right thing anyway and ignored Mitch M.
He sent a public letter to Cruz, when Cruz was going wobbly on the TPP bill. Cruz changed his vote.
He got Donald Trump involved decades ago when the UN was just throwing money around recklessly to renovate the UN building. Trump came and spoke to congress at Sessions behest.
He is the only person I have seen that stopped creepy Joe Biden from touching his granddaughter.
While doing an investigation into political corruption, Peter Schweizer wrote that Jess Sessions was found to be the most honest man in congress. Never taking a dime that wasn’t his.
Most recently, even though POTUS did not endorse Sessions, Sessions still endorses Trump.
I think sometimes we forget what the real world is like, when the MSM or others want us to believe something else. In the real world, had Sessions honestly been in over his head, POTUS would NOT have just started embarrassing him and his family by sending mean tweets. I can’t think of anything more unkind. POTUS is not unkind. IRL he would have talked to Sessions, and asked him to step down making up some excuse. IRL, Sessions is a patriot, he would not have clung to this position. Did you know Sessions SIL is a Commanding Officer on the U.S.S. Alabama Submarine?
If your scenario is true, then I have read POTUS totally wrong. He would never treat a patriot who was in over his head so cruelly. Other than Sessions, can you name any other patriot that Trump has sent out mean tweets about?
