Wouldn’t conspiracy to murder the POTUS constituted treason, seeing how whoever attempts such is trying to overthrow at least one branch of the government?
Just trying to see if there’s a train of logic there.
It would be murder under standard criminal law, and could be treason under certain circumstances.
