I may move there if CA real estate gets cheap in enough . I hear the local property taxes are reasonable.
Its my understanding that property taxes were capped, if you already owned it. If you sell it, the new buyer pays much more.

Torrance CA, 1475 sq ft, 4br 2ba, 50x100 lot, built 1954, price: 1.150 MILLION.
Not cheap.
Property taxes here are absolutely NOT reasonable.
