One of the most famous episodes of Friends is set to be re-enacted with an all-black cast.
Hosted by Bring It On and 10 Things I Hate About You star Gabrielle Union, the Friends table read will feature Sterling K Brown, Ryan Michelle Bathe, Uzo Aduba, Aisha Hinds, Kendrick Sampson and Jeremy Pope.
Taking place on Zoom, the stars will re-enact the season three episode The One Where No One's Ready - which saw David Schwimmer's character Ross Geller desperately trying to get his friends to a black tie event on time, and Joey famously wearing all of Chandler's clothes - which is so not the opposite of taking someone's underwear.
It is being held to benefit When We All Vote, an organisation attempting to increase voter registration numbers in the US.
Friends fans were treated to a mini reunion during Sunday's Emmys, when Jennifer Aniston was joined at home by her former co-stars Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow - aka Rachel Green, Monica Geller and Phoebe Buffay.
Advertisement A long-awaited reunion show announced earlier this year, which is set to arrive on the HBO Max streaming service, has been delayed due to the coronavirus crisis.

About a decade ago HBO in their wokeness recast classic European fairy tales with Negroes and other ethnics. Every February has become Negro month and we are reminded of the rich African culture. If so, how come they expropriate European fairy stories?
Where is the "rich African culture" to be found? Isn't real African culture good enough for HBO? Or was it more important to desecrate classic European stories?
I try and avoid systemic racist things. Choosing a cast because of the color of their skin is clearly Bigotry...
Heimdall was Black in all the Thor and Avengers movies.
Because Whites clearly thought Blacks were Gods, even though they had never seen one at the time...
Racists being Racist... Not even hiding it any more.
Oh, no!
I miss those memes!
Even the voices are BLACK.
The woman that does that annoying Rocket ad (”they say cash is king, but you’re a queen”) has been in several commercials. The ad agency must have sent out the order, “We need a voice that screams “I’m black!!!”
“Friends” was significant in pushing the liberal agenda to young adults; a pervert “couple” was raising one male character’s child, and none of the children of any character was living in a biological nuclear family.
“However, whites are still burglars and play the fool where needed.”
White MEN are still burglars and play the fool where needed; that is probably why I don’t know any (even young ones) who watch TV anymore. I believe that is what drives so much racial pandering in sports; white men know it is bread and circuses for those who play no premium on their own time, so the networks have to reach out to those who are willing to be sold stuff for hours at a clip.
If everyone is the same, that isnt diverse.
A truck driver, a circus juggler, a lawyer, a science teacher, and a CPS social worker would be a diverse cast.
Amazon is doing that. Some show about a neonazi being sent to a twilight zone America where blacks enslaved white people and raping white women. Cracker is part of the title (Cracka?)
Given that black folks actually do have a tendency to be late for many things (work, get togethers, etc) due to CPT, it’s highly ironic that THIS is the episode they are going to film.
So unbelievably racist.
