Not only is it more or less “common knowledge”, but typically, before the call is connected between the two parties, there is a recording that says something like:
“This call is from a Correctional Facility ALL calls May Be monitored, Thank You”
I’m glad this kid was stupid enough to admit the killing on a recorded line.
