Not bad for a team 25th in payroll and 26th in Batting Average. Their highest batting average by a player who wasn't traded for recently is .267. And the only expensive player they have, Khris Davis, hasn't done anything.

It’s nice to see a team which isn’t among the big spenders have a great season. I hope they do well in the playoffs.
I heard someone say , that the 2020 season will have an asterisk in the record books, because as a short season, none of the playoff teams will have proven themselves over the long haul of a normal season. I’m sure that will be grist for the mill on sports talk radio and ESPN programs.

A's clinch first AL West title since 2013
Wait, what? I like the A's, but I haven't been able to care about baseball at all this year. I kind of knew MLB was playing but didn't really pay attention - can't even attend games. So the A's won the AL West, eh? Nice. Maybe with no fans around they'll make it past the first playoff series.

That is so adorable! Just as cute as a June Bug! Pretending that this was a real baseball season is just so precious, bless their hearts!

There was a baseball season before the playoffs this year?
Who knew?
Now that I think about it, the percentage of guys walking around with sports team merchandise (caps, jerseys) seems way down. Anyone else notice that?
