Sad state of affairs. Many hypocritical charlatans have hijacked Christianity in the United States for their narrow personal benefit, enrichment, access to power and usage. They’ll pay for it. It is so written.
People who are hostile to religion will always use these examples of corrupt behavior by prominent people to prove that religion is hypocritical nonsense..... My response is to tell them don’t judge a religion based on the behavior of it’s so called leaders, judge a religion based on the cumulative effect that scripture has on the masses that practice that religion
