A couple of decades ago, I happened to be getting a tour behind the scenes of a news network and overheard a producer giving a future guest instructions about what colours to wear. The producer told the guest that his chosen outfit would be ironed and accessorized for maximum audience appeal.
There have either been staff cutbacks since then and they no longer provide this service, or they were deliberately trying to make Little Marco look bad.
I posted the other day, one result of the Fox News cutbacks and reorg last week is there will be no hair and makeup service for guests, only employees. Those people hadn’t worked much since the pandemic began since most were working from home so it was an easy thing to cut.
