LS, whom I believe resides in AZ and is very close to their politics, has moved from very pessimistic about McSally's chances to thinking she has a chance.
This one will probably depend on just how strong are Trump's coattails.
After posting I searched LS’s comments and that seemed to be the case from what little I checked; and I figured since he lives in AZ he would know. A lot depends on how many voters ditched Dem party and how many became registered Rs, as polls are not much use.
Here’s the thing. The Buzzi death now means that EVERY AZ GOP has to vote for McSally. Ward-ers, neverTrumpers, everyone.
They aren’t idiots. We have almost 100,000 registration advantage, ASU/UA/NAU are partially closed (maybe 50%) so the college vote won’t be there as it normally is.
McSally now has a chance. A strong turnout will put her in.
