I read upthread that her service was held at 10:00 am on Friday before the public announcement. Apologies to whoever posted the newspaper announcement.

RE: “I read upthread that her [Ginsburg] service was held at 10:00 am on Friday before the public announcement.”

I believe that any supposition based on the graphic at #1600 in the previous thread is incorrect. That’s where it came from, supposedly from a newspaper called “The Muskogee Daily Phoenix”, but the location of funeral services doesn’t make sense being “Warner Memorial Cemetery” in Muskogee County, Oklahoma.

The Associated Press reported on Sept. 18th, Friday evening at 7:36 p.m. eastern time, “BREAKING: Supreme Court says Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has died of metastatic pancreatic cancer at age 87.”

The Supreme Court statement said, “A private interment service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery.” and I have read that her husband Martin Ginsburg was buried there in 2010.
