I can picture RGB making that quote anytime in the last four years, but no, I do not believe that would be the last coherent statement she made before dying.
It’s too self-serving. The Dems pretend to be consumed with sentiment and respect when it works to their advantage.

I suppose the poor thing’s last remark may have been a demand; something like “ I need more morphine, and I need it right now!!”

It wasn’t her dying words.

It was written in a letter sent to her grand-daughter. This story was brought up when Kavanaugh was being nominated. This is a long standing story that does have standing. She could have retired during 0Bummer’s last term but Scalia was murdered in his sleep and she held on stating that she would not retire at that time.

BTW even the FOX News story says it was written in a letter to her daughter so not sure, where the deathbed last words came from. That would be fake news.
