“U.S. Sen. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and the Broadway League renewed the call for dedicated federal funding for Broadway and other New York live venues today . . .”
 Better idea: let them starve.
Later, survivors of the stage industry depression can come back and do educational plays warning of the dire consequences of voting for Democrat politicians.

Hamilton proved that Broadway is simply a leftist political organization and therefore should not be bailed out.

They werent essential then, why are they deemed so now?

Hollywood made $11.4 billion in 2019 on domestic ticket sales. Is Broadway really worth as much as all movies nationwide?

The federal government should never bail out Broadway. These crazy leftist actor loons always vote for Democrats so they can just enjoy the $hit show that their politicians created.

I went to lunch today at a small local restaurant. The way the gubmint makes them spread everyone out they can only have a half dozen tables and a few stools at the counter. I don’t know how they can make it with a fourth of the tables open.

Doing it the way Schumer is suggesting opening up a lot of “blue sky” in my opinion. Can’t see any reason for government support for something as low priority as Broadway Musicals, etc.; which most people have never seen or care to anyway.
