Trump won this district by 13 percentage points so why did Democrat Joe Cunningham win by .8%? The Reason is Mark Sanford. Just plain stupid. Tim Scott held the seat for 2 years. Nancy Mace fills the boxes in the looks department. She'll win and have 2 years to prove she's not stupid. Otherwise we'll need another Tim Scott to keep it. The district includes Charleston. Lots of blacks there as well as stupid whites.

Too much bad blood from the 2018 GOP primary. Sanford wouldn’t endorse the person who knocked him off in the GOP primary.
If we want to win the House back, this is one of those Must Have seats - just like Oklahoma 5.
Just what I said-stupid. Trump is exposing these phonies and it’s coming at the right time. Taking out an incumbent is risky but better in the long term. Hopefully Sanford’s family will take him back. The Argentine family breaker is probably with someone else.
Great ad! Looks like she’s going to follow Tim Scott in more ways than one. Unfortunately(or fortunately) Linda will have to lose the seat for 6 years.

South Carolina only elects Cheap Labor Express stooges.
Charleston Bay. Big drop-off point of the cheap labor express. Descendents are doing their thing in Portland/Seattle. Not so cheap after all.
They, the Democrats, probably cheated as well. stupid doesn’t erase a potential 13 point margin. Not saying we don’t have stupid candidates, we do, but cheating in the voting sphere is also widely used by Democrats.
