Apropos of nothing, I picked up my medication today. $53 for three months supply. Last time it was $89. Thank You President Daddy for giving me an extra $35 in my pocket today. It is much appreciated and needed at this time.
Yes; one of my meds - which was created about 100 years ago - was about $60; it is now just a couple of dollars. I suppose you are right about the Trump Admin dealing with these issues.
OTOH, at least for now, the emergence of new generic drugs may be retarded, perhaps just for a while. For example, the insulin injectable, Lantus, lost its proprietary status almost two years ago; it is an expensive treatment but effective. So far no generic has been proposed. We will see.
