1) Plastic bottles not soluble in Petro-chemical liquids
2) Plastic bottles burn up leaving little forensic evidence at scene
3) Pictures of “Gas Cans” in pickup were KEROSENE, not gas.
Gas flares up, while Kerosene (or Deisel) burns more slowly

More to follow as it comes to my beer addled mind comes up with it

Yes they are. How fast depends on the compound. LDPE will leak or seep before dissolving. Styrene almost immediately begins to dissolve. Not sure about PET.
