If they balk at holding a nomination before the election - they won’t have the full court to take their argument that the election was fraudulent and Trump didn’t really win.

That is the most likely scenario. The whole purpose of the plandemic and the resulting mail-in voting is to hide massive fraud. They lost the ability to do so electronically in 2016 when their scheme was disabled in several battleground states. Mail-in voting, ballot harvesting, and such are the latest scheme. No chain of custody = no proof of fraud (also means no proof of a valid vote, but they won't play from that angle).
Their hope of winning in the Supreme Court dropped with the loss of RGB, now the best that they can hope for is that the compromised Roberts give them a 4-4 tie, and they will instead shop lower court judges to get the verdicts they want, uncontested by the SCOTUS.
