The mystery of the unidentified flying object spotted whizzing through the air above the Queen Mary 2 cruise ship in Torquay last week has been solved.
Chief investigator for World UFO Photos, John Mooner, who witnessed the UFO said: ''The object flew down towards the ship and then stopped and hovered there for a couple of second before it just seemed to disappear into thin air.
I was really stumped by this as it was far too large to be a drone and there was no sound at all.
What the hell did I witness? And where did it go?
Well, it seems the mystery behind explainable phenomenon can finally be put to bed after the man behind the marvel has come forward stating that it was 'likely' to be his drone.
Budding photographer Luke Brown said: ''Over lockdown I had decided to take up a new hobby so invested in a drone.
Luke captured some stunning shots of the cruise ships (Image: Luke Brown) ''I have been flying the drone over the bay to get shots of the P&O cruise ships.
''It is very likely that the UFO was actually my drone as I was around there.''
After reading that it had been mistaken for an alien spaceship, Luke was highly 'amused'.
He said: ''I think in the future I might start dressing the drone up as an alien and fly him over Torbay!''
Well there’s a site I NEVER want to see again.
The curtains on many cruise ship balconies are left open. Peeping tom with high tech camera?
Based on typical cruise ship passengers I have seen, he would be sorely disappointed.
Yeah but every now and then he might hit it right. And if they have clothing optional deck ...
Basil Fawlty would do a better job managing that website than the turkeys who are doing it now.
