Didn't Carol ever wonder why Mr. Brady always wanted to go camping with the boys and not the girls? Did Sam the butcher ever deliver the meat to Alice? If Carol was such a wonderful wife and mudder, why did she get divoced?

I always wondered, if Carol was divorced, why her ex did not object to Mike Brady adopting the girls. (He must have, since their last name was Brady.) And evidently the girls didn’t mind losing their biological dad’s last name, or never visiting him or having a visit from him, or even mentioning him. The divorce couldn’t have been long ago, since Cindy was so young at the beginning of the series. All I can figure is, Carol’s ex must have been a real SOB. Nobody missed him, nobody visited him, nobody minded losing his name!

Mom always said, “Don’t play ball in the house”.
