Any place with large Italian-American populations at least know how to make something close to a decent pizza. That’s why Connecticut has a lot of them because of the large Italian immigration there late in the 19th Century.
Yup. Jersey and Philly have plenty of good spots, the former more so.
My Italian father made the best home made pizza on the planet. He used corn meal which I am convinced made the difference.
