My own theory is that the Globalist Socialist have been panicked by Trump’s success and willingness to stand in their way openly.
They therefor decided that the entire world economy must be brought down so that they may declare that it must be brought under UN control so that mass starvation can be prevented.
Call me a conspiracy theorist but pretty much the only other alternative theory is that the vast majority of world leaders are cowardly idiots that will simply follow the advice of a few epidemiologist when they say “Shutdown your entire economy or everyone dies”.
