I have not heard of this boba tea until you posted about your wager a few days ago.
I am a tea drinker. Iced or hot, I don’t care. Not busy yet this morning so upon seeing your post I looked up boba tea.
Here is an excerpt:
“Its that addictive texture thats become the boba signature. Known locally as Q or QQ (as in, very Q), the untranslatable bouncy, rubbery, chewy consistency is treasured in Taiwan. Look around and youll see the Q plastered prominently on food packaging and affixed to shop signs. Its also key to the texture of mochi, fish balls, and noodles. Indeed, the quality of boba drinks is measured by how much Q power lurks within the tapioca pearls. Like the Italian notion of al dente, Q is difficult to master and hard to capture boba with the right Q factor isnt too soft or too bouncy, but has just the right amount of toothiness.”

On my next run thru a city I must find a Q powered tea!
I have copied and pasted your post to my family member.
Some of the family think I am part of a cult called Q.
Talk about poetic justice that the family member’s fav drink is QBoba.
