Well if that is the case, it’s not a moment too soon.
I am in Washington State, the smoke here is very bad and going to be getting much worse after a massive lightning storm comes through the NW on Thursday and Friday. And Heaven help those in Oregon, good grief.

I’m in Seattle. I drove up to Anacortes Saturday to see if the smoke would be clearer and no, was bad if not worse. Returned to Seattle by Ferry from Whidbey Is. and could not see anything from the passenger deck, not a thing, not even the surface of the water.
Until today there was a forecast of light rain for tonight and thought that might wash away the smoke. But today the forecast is clear and rain not expected until Thursday evening.
Coughing, gagging on smoke here and particulate. Went to Home Depot, bought furnace filters, tied them to the back of fans and shut windows and doors, that clears up the indoor air some.
I see references of dozens of arsonists arrested. If you see anything doxxing them here in WA State, let me know, it’s now personal.
