Speculation about why Durham’s chief deputy resigned. But it doesn’t make much sense. Idea is that indictments are imminent and the deputy’s job is done.

But...if indictments are imminent there’s no reason for an interim report.

Hey, nice find. That was a great report.
Got into the guts of an investigation and gave info on Dannehy that wasn’t easy to find.

Sundance posted a different explanation, based on HIS inside knowledge. Of course he did.

He says she’s just bailing to preserve her status for private sector jobs now that her pension is fully vested. He calls her a “functionary” and that he function may have put her in contact with some of the “untouchable” entitites that would limit her future earning potential in the deep state legal world, so she’s getting out before Durham releases anything so she can claim she wasn’t part of it.

Makes sense to me, but they could both be wrong. “Insider knowledge”...pfft.
