I just don’t think so. Hillary washed out. It was unforgivable. Bernie hates her, the blue state electors couldn’t stand her, in 2008, and all of them tolerated her, for Bill.

Agreed. They now Trump impact despite their best efforts to prevent it has been profound and will continue unless they stop him now. They can undo trade deals and EOs but they can un-approve federal judges for instance, so they are desperate. Running a moderate who would be “Trumpish but democrap” would not accomplish the 180 degree reversal they want. Harris was such a terrible candidate she could not get the nomination and they knew Bernie would never win as a socialist so they went with Biden who they knew (even before his impairments became clear) would say and do whatever he was told. So he’s the stalking horse, Harris is their real candidate who would not only carry on but extend the left-wing “transformation”.
Covid and the riots just gave them further crises to take advantage of, but I’m damned if I can see how they helped their cause. Maybe that’s why they are backpeddling on some things now.
I hate to even say “in fairness to Hillary” but while she’s a progressive-liberal-nutjob, she’s not as far out as AOC’s squad is who are calling the shots now. Plus she thinks she’s smarter then they are and and has too many of her own ideas to become the DNC/Obama puppet. Harris far better suits their needs. I mean honestly, can you even hear Hillary saying half the crap that Biden has parrotted? (talking about the policy crap, not the teleprompter notes and leg-hair stories)
My guess is Susan Rice to head the ticket.
