Today I drove by a barn. It was bigger and redder than many barns. It looked bigger than it actually was because I was only allowed to look at it through magnified glasses, and it looked redder than it was because I had those color intensifying lenses. These glasses were a free gift from the media people at the farm stand! Free! Also, from loudspeakers in all the doors screamed 'BARN!!!! BARN!!!!! BARN!!!!! BIG BARN RED BARN!!!!'. The cattle were MOO MOO ing all in CAPS!!!!!!! (They were very very very black and white spotted. Too black! Too white! Well maybe only because of my lenses) The farmer was outside talking to the news about what a big, red barn it was, and that people should buy his cattle and also stop taking their business to his neighbor farmer down the road. All the news media where the farmer advertised were talking about how big a barn it was, so everybody thought it was the biggest barn that ever was - a different KIND of barn - MAYBE not EVEN a barn. And it was big, relatively, and I mean, yeah, it was a deepish red as barns go.
And yet, it was still ... just a barn, Brozak.
In my story, I think you are like one of the cows. But cows have their place on God's green earth, so keep at it!
