Looks like Medusa. They should have left the 90s version be, it’s not all that great a story to begin with and they made it just suck more. This is the type of thing that made me give up most TV watching. Total crap.
Whoopi Goldberg is a step down. The Mother Abigail of the original TV series, Ruby Dee, was a fine actress and, although a Lefty with strong civil rights credentials, she was unlike Whoopi in being responsible and measured in her public statements and conduct.
