I saw the first one and it was okay. Now knowing that Stephen King pretty much does not like conservatives I will never watch or read anything else by King.

I bet Randall Flagg, Nadine Cross, Trashcan Man, and Harold Lauder are white. The musician character Larry Underwood is now black. He was white in the book.
FWIW, I recently revisited this book just a couple of months ago. I found it a little dated and in need of editing. Still one of King’s best.
