Did they consider that this might be correlation without causation?
for example, maybe people who already have dementia are more liely to forget how many drinks they had.
See what I did there???
They are talking about young people binge drinking................like I did....................
I wash my liver with alcohol...................
This is not exactly a newsflash. Chronic high intake of ethyl alcohol is toxic to neurological tissue and leads to encephalopathy if you live long enough. General rule: Heavy daily drinking ( ~ 1.5 ouncess of ethyl alcohol or greater/day) for thirty years leads to the inevitable fried brain with many behavioral abnormalities along the way. And yes, Madam Secretary Clinton is a good example.
The ultimate cleanse.
I bet her liver looks like Swiss cheese....................
We called it pickling...
But I was never much of a drinker.
New Years I had a couple of bourbons...
Have you considered “Liver Liners” by Pfizer?
Hillary Clinton is a horrible, miserable person who after a career of lies, evil intentions and bad acts looks around and in her pathetic dotage finds herself very much alone. Anyone who really knows her despises and avoids her.Her “friends” all had an agenda. Her hushand is no comfort and in any case she bitterly resents and loathes him. She seems to have virtually no contact with her daughter or grandchildren. Alcohol for such people is their solace. This creature came close to being President of the United States.
Only a complete idiot would say “it’s not advisable” about getting so drunk as to lose consciousness. Passing out is the only thing that prevents the idiot from killing himself by drinking too much alcohol.
The person who drinks to extinction is ALREADY mentally deficient. So yes, there is a link to dementia. Big DUH!
If you are drinking until you pass out you probably won’t live long enough to get dementia.
Sorry, I passed out. What were we talking about?
You would be suprised to know just how many drunks live long enough to get dementia. Underscores just how healthy and long lived they would have been if they didn’t drink heavily. Also many people with alcohol induced encephalopathic dementia are being charitably misdiagnosed as “Alzeimer’s disease”.
Unfortunately you can live long enough to get dementia.
Stage 4 liver failure is often accompanied by hepatic encephalopathy.
We’re currently experiencing that with an adult child.
Yep, that’s it.
who would have thought that?
