I’m guessing somebody blocked a street or broke a window before this guy tossed a molotov. However - I tend to agree with the FBI on this.
All of the rioters that broke the law or became violent should be charged with the harshest measures. The very FIRST Amendment is at stake - that’s a “big f-ing deal” (even bigger than obamacare).
I don’t have to agree with these idiots, but they are granted the right to peacefully assemble and air their grievances.
Should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Agreed. This rioter like so many others, will get virtually no penalty and will go back out to riot some more. So, who is the real enemy in this situation?

Given several other responses in this thread, I am not alone in my skepticism about anything being done to punish the left or the Deep State. With that in mind, my post was also part sarcasm. Read post #5 in this thread for reference.
Difference is the Feds are being ramped up for the precise reason that local DAs are refusing to prosecute...it’s actually a bit ironic...by trying to protect the anarchists, they have now relegated them, to some serious federal charges and repercussions.
I understand your comment from the point of view that DAs were not doing the job, but the Feds are in as a direct response...
