I have long maintained that there are three types of people in this world. Those that are naturally peaceful, Those that are naturally warlike, and those who would be warlike if it wasn't for the negative consequences of being so. In two of these three cases, you need a strong force to maintain peace. Unfortunately, in this world, maintaining a strong force never gets you credit for being a peacemaker.

The president should decline and state that it is a meaningless, political gimmick and past winners is proof of that and he does not care to participate in such farces..... or words to that effect.

That's odd. It's my understanding that many many Jews have gone on to win Nobel awards at least the real ones in the sciences.

I can understand the international community not giving any peace prizes to Jews given their antipathy and/or apathy towards Israel.

The uber liberals in the Nobel commission know dern well that to win the prize at this time would make Trump an irresistible force.
