So, better to have poll watchers staked at every door from the beginning of the day to the end, at every election office in every major city, every day that ballots could be coming in? How many Republicans do you think there are that have this much time on their hands? They couldn’t possibly have other jobs if this much of their time is required. Also at night, where secret deliveries may be made? Do you think this is possible?
Yes. It has been the way things have been done for years. You see, real conservatives stick with things that work. They don't invent more government to be used against them. Poll watchers are volunteer positions filled by citizens, not lazy ass government employees that owe their living to the largess of taxpayers. Once a government employee exists he can't lose his job and they are a burden on society, your children and grandchildren. They start voting with their pocket books. They unionize and become integrated in the deep state. They turn into leftists that vote for Democrats or anyone that will give them their next raise. On top of that, government employees are truly lazy asses they do not work, so those manning the monitors on your glorious cameras are not attentive. Those that maintain your glorious cameras are slow to fix broken cameras. Those that are supposed to keep the networks running to receive the camera feeds, they are technical morons unable to do their jobs. In short, they were never able to make in the private sector and make their claim on the American Dream.
The only way to ensure the integrity of our elections is to vote in-person using an actual paper ballot that records your vote. Absentee ballots are fine for specific reasons as they have been in the past. Even we have in-person, paper ballot elections there is a for need citizen poll watchers, just as they have been in the past. The entire election process from polling place to the county seat where votes are counted should be 100% citizen based as it has been in the past. The only place where the government need be involved is at the state's capitol where the state's Department of State receives and adds together the vote totals from counties.
We have doing elections successfully for over two centuries. The last thing we need is to change what works.
