To: Spirit of Liberty

I’m not talking about the envelope mailed to me. I’m talking about the envelope with my marked ballot that I was supposed to mail back (decided not to).

“The general election ballot won’t have that.”

How do we know?

Yes, when they're returned they're sorted by which primary they're for (Democrat/Republican) before they're opened and counted. Generally, but not always, a machine does the tabulating. The machine is set to tabulate one primary. They don't want ballots of one going through when the machine is set for the other.

How do I know? I work for a state government and talk with people at election commissions is all I'll say. That being said, I'm an anonymous poster on the internet. A simple Google search would reveal numerous news articles about it as far back as February of this year.

It's been done this way for years, but with so many people new to mail-in voting, and suspicions of cheating running high, people are looking at everything with a skeptical eye.
