NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - Northridge resident Donna, who didnt want her last name used for fear of retaliation, isnt shy about her political beliefs.
Trump is a great President.
With her giant Trump flag proudly displayed on her house, Donna believes she was targeted by someone who wrote BLM on her mail. She says that person was a mail carrier who she believes was caught on tape Thursday by her neighbors security camera.
His camera showed him walking to my house. He had the mail in his hand and hes writing, Donna told FOX 11.
Her neighbor, Carlos Sanchez, backs up her story.
You know what its 100% sure. You know why, nobody coming inside for writing the email. Only this guy has access for that thing, Sanchez stated.
Donna says she immediately called the post office to report the incident.
This guy was tampering with private property mail. The manager told me theyre definitely going to fire him because this is a federal offense, she said.
FOX 11 reached out to the post office. A spokesperson called the mishandling of mail unacceptable and released the following statement:
We are disappointed to see the actions of our employee, and apologize to the customers affected by this incident. The Postal Service is investigating the matter and will take appropriate action to ensure this does not occur again.
Evelina Ramirez, USPS Spokesperson
Donna says the fill-in postal worker also threw her mail on the ground. She says so far, none of her other neighbors were targeted.
Im just curious, how many people in this whole neighborhood have a Trump sign and if they do... they probably got BLM written on their mail also."
The post office did not confirm specifically what disciplinary action would be taken against that employee if he is found to be responsible. But FOX 11 did confirm that defacement of mail falls under federal mail tampering laws and is considered a felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
CSUN is in Northridge...It is a part of City of Los Angeles...
This mail carrier is an idiot... He could march in the BLM protest on his off days... But, when he is working, his support for BLM should affect how he treats customers...
This guy is supposed to be a fill-in person for the regular carrier...Would he be in the union? He is not the regular carrier...He could easily be fired if he is not in the union...
The video of the interview, with this lady, is on Fox 11 Website...
bttt
We returned from vacation a couple weeks ago, and my wife went to pick up the mail we had stopped. After the black woman who is helping my wife retrieved our mail, she became extremely rude throwing the mail on the counter and then stating next, to serve the next person in line. My wife could not figure out why the postal worker was so rude but as she walked out she looked down and there was a Trump campaign letter on the top of our mail. I tried to file a complaint with the post office, but my wife did not want to pursue it.

And these are the folks through whose hands will pass our mail ballots.
I tried to file a complaint with the post office, but my wife did not want to pursue it.

I think your wife was correct...Probably nothing would have happened to that lady...Union rules...Management is afraid of unions...
Yep. And most post offices hire minorities who most likely are for BLM.
Might as well have some fun with it—get some Trump literature and mail it to your favorite lefties in your zip code....(give the return address of another leftie....)
;-)
Most postal workers are Democrats & their union has endorsed Biden.
Vote in person or send in your absentee ballot from anywhere but where you live.
Posties want to steal this election, bottom line.
Posties I like that.
When PDJT wins in a landslide on Election Night, bags and bags of mail-in ballots will magically appear to give the win to Biden.
You’ve heard of the Gestapo and KGB? Where did they get their recruits? From posties like these. Untalented, unskilled, but ready to serve the will of the State.
“I tried to file a complaint with the post office, but my wife did not want to pursue it.”
Always report it. Even if nothing is done, it creates a record. The mail carrier or that specific post office may have received other complaints in the past. People do get fired or reassigned. Filing complaints helps out other victims who have filed complaints.
Those like him will be trusted with mail-in votes?
She should be happy the Burn/Loot/Murder representative didn’t vandalize her house or car.
What is this "caught on tape" the report speaks of? You would think that someone who reports for a television station would realize that in 2020, "tape" is an expression from a bygone era.
LOL!
You must be one of those who laughed at Trump for using the term "wiretap" when the spygate scandal was just getting started, when we all know that physically attaching to the wires is never done any more.
Obsolete terms like tape, film, snapshot, footage, dial or hang up (a phone), the tube (tv), tuning (a radio), typing, carbon copy, and many others are still widely used and understood even though their origin might not be.

Apparently she is.
“get some Trump literature and mail it to your favorite lefties in your zip code.”
A really good idea. You don’t even have to get the literature yourself. Just sign them up online or by phone to receive mail.
This incident is more evidence for the GOP/Trump to use in the mail-in ballot issue. I think we’re screwed in any case as there’s not enough time to correct the problem before election day.
Don’t worry he will take great care of your mail in vote
