“I’ve said for a long time (> 10 years?) I expect to see concentration camps in Europe in my lifetime.”

Everyone says, “It can’t happen here.” It’s the same normalcy bias people have when they say, “Nobody is going to rob, mug, murder ME.” That’s because, whatever you mention to them, it has never happened before, therefore it can’t happen. I believe the United States is always one election away from dystopia. Conservatives get elected, everything goes relatively well, but isn’t utopian. We can do better, say the socialists. Eventually, the populace, bored and lulled by how good things are, give in and give the socialists their chance to “improve” things. So far, this has been a relatively safe cycle. for about two years during Obama the socialists owned all the organs of government. Amazingly, we didn’t get gun control. We didn’t get a Green New Deal. We did get socialized medicine lite, but it was an instant failure. The reason we didn’t get the rest of the agenda is because those in power know how bad it would fail and didn’t want to be associated with failure. But now, the new generation of socialists, raised on nothing but propaganda and with no contravening facts or knowledge, are willing to go whole hog for the entire agenda all at once. That will be hard, if not impossible, to recover from. Lots of people will die.

”I expect to see concentration camps in Europe in my lifetime.”

If so, Muslims will be the guards, not the inmates.
