Food Lion is part of Ahold Delhaize, a 19B€
Europe based concern. In this failed Chynese
bioweapon era their numbers are good.

I find in general their subsidiary stores to be cleaner than
some competitors but much more overpriced.

I would not expect a foreign concern to be sensitive
to traditional US values but they can and should be
squeezed on this matter

Food Lion gives discounts that essentially wipe out the taxes. At times they can be as cheap as the commissary. But Publixs and Lowes have better products, but you pay for them. Aldis can be cheaper and they offer a lot of European brands.

I use Food Lion a lot, but my millennial daughter prefers Lowe's and Publixs.
