Nothing matters unless this takes place before the election. Timing is everything, or timing is nothing. The brinksmanship is annoying. Trying to maintain optimism, but the timing is not evident....yet.

Nothing will happen before the election. The deadline for that kind of move passed over a month ago.
I'm wondering if Trump's reelection is so certain that they have decided to delay the major prosecutions until afterwards. We'll know more after Q posts tomorrow. (I'm depending on Q to kick off the 2020 Election Season, which supposedly begins after Labor Day,)
We can hope much has already taken place and we are not privy. Otherwisr we are too late now. The tired excuse of “we must make certain of convictions” is nonsense. As you mentioned in another post, it takes minutes to charge and arrest. Then let everyone sort out the remains in court. Right now these people(DS) are holding out for Flynn and have all eggs in one basket. Meanwhile they are free to move their stolen proceeds, plan against DJT, and otherwise continue with their criminality. Charge everyone with something. Charges can be added later.
