Glad you can drop in from time to time.
The banter, the chit-chat as you call it, is probably because we are a relatively small group. Kind of like family. But we’re that part of the family that, at Thanksgiving dinner, we sit in the other room on the folding table that was set up for Uncle Bagster and his followers. It’s where the kool kids hang out.
At our special table, we occasionally talk about getting electrocuted or struck by lightning, or our favorite recipes, but we also dive into the thermodynamic discussions of Q, which the others don’t wish to discuss at the “main” table.
I know that it can be a bit of a chore to separate the wheat from the chaff at times, but I think that’s a byproduct of group mentality. Or rather, hive mentality.
I’m as guilty as anyone of sliding off into different subjects when the Q stuff is not apparent to me, but that’s how I am in real life too. I’m the inadvertent subject changer at times, just how my scatter-brain works.
