Suicide, alcoholism, drug abuse, domestic abuse, and depression are up up up because people are not permitted to socialize as humans DO.

Biden's view is that lockdowns are the only way to open the economy. By that he means indefinite lockdowns (which will be ignored in the inner city, etc) with shifting goalposts, until some arbitrary date in the future. Then we can have "real" economic recovery.
