The UFC isn’t dead. They are more popular than ever and over the last 3 months have been putting on some incredible fight cards. They also completely avoid the SJW nonsense. No lectures, just solid sports entertainment.

We watch local stuff on the 10pm news but now switch channels to OAN after the local weather report finishes and before the sports report comes on. Now a pro sports free home and haven’t missed ‘em. Looking forward to seeing which franchise goes bankrupt first.

In 2012 the NFL had an issue with Tim Tebow kneeling before each game to pray, they also had an issue with Tebow wearing John 3:16 as part of his eye-black to avoid glare, and made him take it off.

In 2013 the NFL fined Brandon Marshall for wearing green cleats to raise awareness for people with mental health disorders.

In 2014 Robert Griffin III (RG3) entered a post-game press conference wearing a shirt that said “Know Jesus Know Peace” but was forced to turn it inside out by an NFL uniform inspector before speaking at the podium.

In 2015 DeAngelo Williams was fined for wearing “Find the Cure “eye black for breast cancer awareness.

In 2015 William Gay was fined for wearing purple cleats to raise awareness for domestic violence. (Not that the NFL has a domestic violence problem..).

In 2016 the NFL prevented the Dallas Cowboys from wearing a decal on their helmet in honor of 5 Dallas Police officers killed in the line of duty.

2016 the NFL threatened to fine players who wanted to wear cleats to commemorate the 15th anniversary of 9/11.

So tell me again how the NFL supports free speech and expression. It seems quite clear based on these facts that the NFL has taken a position against any action by NFL players demonstrating RESPECT for any issue:
For God, social causes such as mental health, cancer, domestic violence, for cops killed arbitrarily, for being cops, or for the Memory of 9/11...

BUT they will allow demonstrations of DISRESPECT for our National Flag, our National Anthem, for America, and for the American People, if it will help mollify a particular Group and its supporters. That is who and what the NFL now has shown itself to be.

Just stop playing the national anthem, and all the military branches can cut ties with pro sports too. Pro sports are no longer a positive force for national unity.

The same goes for college sports if they want to ramp up the political activism infecting their sports.

Pro sports forgot that the American public wanted to go to the games and root for their team for it was a distraction from life. Since pro sports has decided to be political motivated, people will not use their money to buy tickets and watch the games.

Great summary! The Dallas decal to honor murdered cops and 9/11 cleats are universally understood by all, but your collective list is incredibly damning. Is this from a source or did you compile this?

It’s because Corporations have taken over all forms of entertainment, including sports. And Corporations are all run by leftists.

Well said. That list should be sent to every league office and sponsor in America.

The article was vague. It doesn’t say if the Cowboys will stand or kneel, just some touchy-feely crap from Dak, who punted when asked about kneeling, about how the players should “express themselves”.

“That’s me...I like college sports...”

I, like the both of you, liked college sports.

However, apparently you two have not been paying attention. All of the major, university, sports programs have chosen to kneel to the ( insert the ‘offended’ minority here ) and given their sensitivity training to all white people so that the ( insert the ‘offended’ minority here, again ) will be given special attention and won’t be ‘offended’.

College sports can take their seat right next to pro sports on the ‘deleted list’.
