Don’t even think of shaving your head to beat it, they can use *ANY* hair. I got the distinct impression they would regard it as a pleasurable challenge.

The only person who should EVER be able to ask you to take any test of this sort should be your doctor.

Some of that has to do with liability. A delivery company, for example, is liable for their drivers and doesn’t want to hire people who may show up high on something and kill people.
Not particularly safety minded are you? Until we have solid self-driving trucks, there's no reason not to test the drivers.
