I haven’t been trumpetting it much at all, but I’ve had this hypothesis for the last year or so that a lot of people in these news and media agencies have been... well... gotten to.
By that I mean, intimidated.
The figureheads and talking heads as well as the execs and anyone in charge.
This is based on no evidence at all, which is why I have mostly kept this theory to myself, but something just seems really too monolithic about the media lately.
From a market perspective, there is no reason for 85% of the media outlets to all compete for a political demographic that is far less than half the population. Something is more than a little fishy about it all.
I think they want to too. But it is possible that some, especially network execs have been compromised Jeffery Epstein style.
It goes back to Geraldine Ferraro being named as Mondale’s running mate.
Reporters bombarded her with real questions and expecting hard answers, and a flustered Ferraro cried out “Why are you doing this? I am one of you!”.
Every Dem has been given the Kennedy treatment ever since.
