Somebody in the pool the other day said they were selling tickets for 15 cents. They said they sold out quick. I’d say so. Why not? Theaters make their money on food and drinks anyway.

When I was a kid the Saturday matinee would charge a dime and the popcorn and drinks were cheap. But so was the movie. Always some old action movie that sucked. But all us kids didn’t care. We’re to busy having spit wad fights.

If they can only seat a limited amount of people, like 25 to 50 %, due to distancing, I don’t know how they can make it.

In normal times I’d been to some showings that were already sparely attended. Whittle that number down due to covid precautions and you’re showing films for 5 or 10 people at a time. They’d better be awfully wild about popcorn!
