Is anything wrong with the Ash or is it location? The small cherry is by our fence line and wires coming into our house. We've had free trimming by the electric company in the past.

I talked with the inspector and he said they want all the ash out because of emerald ash borer.
Yes there is no cost to us for it. (Sorry to hear about your 4k cost - ouch).
But they aren’t taking out all the ash trees. The mulberries and cherry tree limbs are “intertwined’ with these ash trees.
Should be interesting.
