The widow of Yasser Arafat has been denounced by Palestinians for supporting Israel’s establishment of diplomatic relations with the United Arab Emirates.
Suha Arafat apologised to the UAE for the response of many Palestinians to its recognition of the Jewish state, which was marked today by an inaugural flight between the countries. “In the name of all the noble Palestinians, I am apologising to the UAE people and leadership for the profanation and burning of their flag in Jerusalem and Palestine and for insulting the symbols of the beloved UAE,” she said...
