I really think just running Biden as a candidate shows the contempt the democrat party has for America.
I try to use empathy and really put myself in leftist shoes. I was a leftist until my conversion at age 21. It’s not a ridiculous stretch.
They could have chosen a cogent candidate. Bernie Sanders, who I currently have no political sympathy for, is perfectly sharp. Wrong, but sharp. Too old? Tulsi Gabbard, a woman I particularly dislike because so many FReepers give her a pass since she is attractive, could have been formidable. Honestly Beto would have been less of an insult.
Biden is so obviously mentally compromised. It’s like they trot him out and demand that we not see what is obvious to any disinterested observer. He’s impaired, that’s all.
It’s like Hilary (who I think is fine mentally but obviously has some sort of neurological problem) we all saw her having fits and they just kept saying NO SHE DIDN’T. I meant the hubris is breathtaking.
The media is Trump’s real opponent - not Biden. I used to think there was some level of reason and string pulling within the DNC. Now I just think they are a disjointed mess with a coalition of folks with different ideas who truly cannot read the pulse of the average American.
They are “the gang that cannot shoot straight.” They were afraid of Bernie so they chose a more malleable yet faltering candidate who has pretty much adopted Bernie’s platform. Yep, makes perfect sense.
