I disagree. “Unions” in western PA are largely teachers or SEIU types that always fall in line. That said, I know a lot of teachers. At least half of them, registered Democrats, are firmly in Trump’s corner. They aren’t towing the union line.
Democrats’ popularity with labor unions, however, has started to shift to Trump because they see what Obama did to their industries, AND what Trump has done FOR their industries.
PA is far more purple than it has been in decades and totally winnable for Trump again.
Anyone writing off PA as a blue state is being naive. It’s smart for Biden to show up but if he doesn’t put on a good show, he may as well put his capital somewhere else. PA is sick of this shit.
Don’t forget that people here are really on their last nerve with Tom Wolf, Rachel Levine and the COVID-scam lockdowns.
We’re sick of bars being closed, restaurants being harassed out of business, 24/7 mask propaganda and a tranny murdering our elders in nursing homes.
PA is much more winnable for Trump thanks to that bumbling duo.

Agreed. Its the union leadership thats far-left. The rank-and-file are more representative of their communities as a whole. And as a union member, thats something I know quite a bit about.
Some might wonder: How then does the union leadership stay in power? Well, in my experience the leadership pulls off election stunts that would make Stalin blush. Oh, the stories I could tell.

Pittsburgh will go for Biden. No doubt about it. But I never said that PA would go for Biden. I worry about PA only because of voter fraud.
