The vibe here in Youngstown feels Trumpian to me.

In Virginia there are not a lot of signs. But the Trump displays are impressive, never just a sign, they always have multiple flags and signs. There are a few of us with Trump bumper stickers. All the remaining Hillary stickers have been removed by now, and not yet replaced with Biden stickers so far. I saw a Warren sticker just this morning.

Overall the number of Trump haters has peaked since 2017-18. With my sticker I get to sample that crowd and they have settled down. As for quiet Trump supporters who approach me, I would say that's about the same number but they are more determined now. My contacts among independents vary. I think some are tired of the fight and want to give up.
